WYSIWYG editor: user manual part 3

In user manual part 2 we ended with the backend of the web page. By clicking the Properties/Editor button we go back to the frontend of the web page. At the top the editor options are available, they look just like Word.

 Clipboard: copy, cut, paste, undo, ...
 Font: bold, italy, underline, superscript, ... change colour.
 Paragraph: alignment, bullets, numbering, ...
 Canvas; insert table, html, image, flash, attachment, or create or delete a link
 Tekststyles: add headings. Google rates H1 en H2 headings, so use your keywords if possible.

Canvas-table
Select the amount of columns and rows

The table is visible on your screen. In the table, right mouse click and the table properties will be accessible, per row or for the entire table.

In the table properties you can determine the size, borders, ...

With the other table Canvas elements you can insert, delete or merge rows and or colums.

Canvas-html
With this option you can add external html code, for example to add a twitter box to your web page, an extra white line, ...

Canvas-image
To add an image to your web page you click the image button.

The picture properties are opened, click the Select button to open the Library. A picture must be available in the Library to be able to add the picture to the web page. Fill in a size and very important a Alt text, which is presented when a user browser is not able or allowed to load a picture and it is used by Google, so use your keywords here.

Canvas-flash
If you want to insert Flash to you web page, click the Flash button. Note that flash is not search engine friendly.

Canvas-link
Add a link to an URL or Web Page by clicking the Link button.

There is also an option to remove a link

Canvas-anchor
Use an anchor to give visitors the possibility to for example jump back to the beginning of the page.

Note; visitors do not like long text or scrolling a lot, so it is better to add not very important text in a pdf or create separate pages for one product.

Canvas-attachment
Use the attachment button to add for example a pdf to your web page.
Note that this document must be available in the Library to be able to add it to the product page.

Canvas-ruler
Use the ruler button to add a horizontal ruler to the web page.

Note that it is better to separate a page with headers.

This it for today. In the next manual I will describe the available text functionalities
