SEO revenues - Generate income with your website!

In my previous blog about Search Engine Optimization, I mentioned that new customers want to be on toppositions in Google, as soon as possible. When we explain to them that it takes time, it is an ongoing process and that is important to start with a keyword investigation, many of them hesitate ... because time means money.

But when I show them our SEO revenues, their eyes start shining, that is what they want; income through their website!

Our activities
In 2009 we started with SEO, but the website program was not SEO friendly. The site looked great, but it didn’t bring us the amount of visitors we hoped for and visitors didn’t contact us through the website.

In 2010 we discovered Shazzoo Website Content Manager. In two months we configured our new SEO friendly website and performed a complete SEO investigation. Since the launch of our new website, we maintain the site and keep track of the results on a weekly basis.

It is an ongoing process, but the results are excellent!

SEO income
More visitors to our website is always pleasant, but at the end the most important is if these visitors take action: contact us, buy the product, download an evaluation version. Income generation with the website is what we want!

Visitors
The amount of visitors increased considerably:
Before SEO in 2009 we had an average amount of 150 visitors per month and hardly any visitors contacted us.
1) With our old website we received an average amount of 380 visitors per month
2) In December 2010 we launched our Shazzoo website and were able to perform SEO thoroughly. The average amount of visitors increased to 840 visitors per month
3) This year we promoted our new WebDAV products, the average amount of visitors increased to 1200 per month

Downloads
By keeping track of the results, we notice a direct positive result when we put extra effort in SEO, not only in the amount of visitors but also in the amount of downloads:

In 2010 we had an average amount of 14 downloads per month, in 2011 this average increased to 40 downloads per month.

Page visits
We not only receive more visitors to our website but these visitors also visit more separte web pages.

Amount of keywords within the first 30 Google search results
It is important to be presented within the first 30 Google search results with your keywords, while potential visitors only look on the first three pages. December 2010 our web pages were only presented for a selection of our keywords within the first 30 Google search results. With our Shazzoo website and our increased SEO efforts, this amount increased considerably.

These results change all the time, while we change our pages and keywords regularly. The Google indexation frequency is not public knowledge but is proven that if you keep your pages up to date, Google will index them more regularly.
