How to Extend Your Organization’s IBM Connections or Lotus Quickr Systems to Mobile Devices — Without Using the Cloud

From:

Dear Friend,

If you’re interested in extending your organization’s Connections or Quickr systems to mobile devices, so you can help your colleagues work more efficiently… but your corporate IT policy forbids you from using cloud solutions… then this free webinar is for you.

Here’s what this is all about: Until recently, the only way to access files stored in your IBM or Lotus systems, from a mobile device, was to use cloud solutions like Dropbox. And although these kind of solutions do work… they contravene your organization’s IT security policy.
Cloud Solutions Are NOT an
Option for Enterprise Systems

But there’s another way to open your system to mobile devices — one that doesn’t use the cloud, and doesn’t break any of the rules. This technology is sitting right under your nose, and, chances are, you’ve not yet considered it.

We've developed Lialis WebDAV — a software tool that allows your users to securely access files stored in their IBM or Lotus systems, from just about every great mobile app. It’s easy to install, and even easier to maintain.  This software bridges the gap nicely.
But you’ve got to see it to believe it.

That’s what this free webinar is about. It lasts for about an hour… and I’ll show you how you can use the free IBM Greenhouse service to demo this software in an isolated test environment. I’ll also explain how it works, and why it’s probably the best IT investment you’ll ever make.

Here’s what you’ll learn:
  • The overlooked extension to the HTTP protocol — it’s the safest and most secure way to transfer files across the Internet, yet most IT professionals are oblivious to its power! (This standard extension is supported out-the-box in every great mobile app.)
  • How to use Lialis WebDAV to securely bridge the gap between your IBM or Lotus system, and all the best mobile apps ever created — using this same overlooked technology. (This process takes less than 30 minutes to implement, and you can practically do it in your sleep!)
  • Why you’ll probably feel guilty accepting praise from your colleagues. (Mobile file sharing and collaboration is ridiculously simple to implement… if you have the right tools. Yet the impact this capability has in your organization is astounding!)
  • How to test-drive Lialis WebDAV for free, inside an isolated test environment — using the IBM Greenhouse community. (You’ll be able to put this technology through its paces and demo every single feature in full… before you install it on your Domino server.)
This webinar is provided free of charge.
Rest assured, this is not a thinly disguised sales pitch. In fact… you can’t actually buy anything from this webinar, even if you wanted to. It is simply an opportunity for you to see firsthand how Lialis WebDAV is a simple solution, for an extremely frustrating problem.
The next webinar is:
Tuesday 28th May 2013

10:00AM EST / 4:00PM CET / 3:00PM GMT
or
3:00PM EST / 9:00PM CET / 8:00PM GMT

To register, enter your name and email address in the form on the website or send an email to kim.vandenberg@lialis.com. You’ll instantly receive an email with joining instructions. And you’ll also get a reminded a few hours before the webinar starts.
Please note: This webinar is hands-on and interactive. I’ll show you the full ins and outs of this solution, and personally help you setup and demo Lialis WebDAV with your IBM Greenhouse environment and mobile device. (Interaction is optional (make sure you have a microphone). If you prefer not to take part, you can just watch.)
Because of this, attendance on this webinar is strictly limited. Therefore, if you’re at all interested, I recommend you secure your place immediately.
Sincerely,
Marten Vosmer
CEO, Lialis

P.S. Make sure you create a free IBM Greenhouse account before the webinar starts. Also, bring a mobile device, with a suitable app installed — Goodreader, Pages, FolderSync, ForkLift, Notability, LogMeIn, etc.
That’s all you need!
By the end of the webinar, you’ll be able to access and use all the files stored in your virtual Connections or Quickr system (which you create in IBM Greenhouse), from your mobile device using Lialis WebDAV. And you’ll see firsthand how it can help your organization.

Lialis WebDAV: the second competition and two webinars

In the following two weeks, Lialis is communicating more closely with those who want to test Lialis WebDAV. This is how:

Competition:

The first competition has finished.

Gerald Kallas won a brand new iPad Mini (he transferred 4700GB in two weeks!), and it'll be in his hands in just a few days. Even better, he got to try two weeks of paperless meetings, using Lialis WebDAV and his IBM Greenhouse environment.

Here's what he has to say about it:
"The one missing capability is to synchronize files offline on desktops, laptops and even mobile devices. That's where Lialis is coming into the play. This IBM Business Partner offers a WebDAV interface for IBM Greenhouse/IBM Connections that can be used with a lot of WebDAV clients on different devices. I've tested it for a while and it closes really the gap. Well done, Lialis. It's quite simple when using Greenhouse, just installing one of these clients listed here and use it. Same when you're using Lialis WebDAV inhouse (it's of course some admin work of your IT staff necessary before)."
Gerald Kalles, CAS AG, Germany
This competition was close between Gerald Kallas and Paul Ritzkat. They used multiple Linux servers to transfer as much data possible. Around 20 other people, who used mobile devices, had no chance.

Anyway, the second competition starts today and only mobile devices are allowed.

If you're already using Lialis WebDAV with your IBM Greenhouse environment… then you don't have to do anything else. Just keep transferring lots of data with mobile devices only, and we'll tell you who the top ten competitors are each day.

(Don't worry if you took part in the first competition. You can take part in this one too. And you don't have to do anything else, other than keep transferring data.)

But if you haven't yet, then simply follow the instructions here to get started:

Join this competition today, and start transferring data. If you transfer the most, you'll win a brand new iPad mini.

Good luck!

Webinar:
